Well, once again it seems that not only am I sadly neglected, getting everything last and noting she intends taking Milord Wolf along  to the Secret Hungers launch party on Saturday. kara 2

when I thought it would be me…

we are here today at the ends of the earth. Indeed the wonder is Shehanne, with her penchant for exploring, isn’t here with the intention of heading for Antarctica. Still, I shall forgive her as Christmas approaches, for I am very warm hearted that way. Besides we have our guest….the lovely Noelle Clark Noelle Clark is a romance writer. especially who, to this day is unable to choose between her and her heroine Abby, so without further ado……

Felicitations on seeing you in our little stopover today here in the Apple Isle – Tasmania. Can you tell us something about your journey from your homeland?

Milady, I am honoured to once again grace your pages with stories from the Antipodes. Thank you for inviting me.

My trip to Tasmania (affectionately known as Tassie) was swift and pleasant, as I decided to forego the four-masters and instead travelled by a dirigible ship, with a certain Captain James “Flint” Blackmoore at the helm. The view from above was spectacular, which is lucky because I was terribly disappointed at the lack of eye candy amongst the male flight attendants, whom I believe have crewed for Captain Flint for many years.

Well, Shehanne wrote them. It sums things up. I mean I try to improve them in my own humble way but I fear that moving Mount Everest six feet to the left might be simpler. Still they are making you welcome I trust?

Oh yes. I had free champagne all the way from the convict settlement of Sydney down to Port Arthur.

How invigorating. I trust you were not in the settlement? I mean, we are  most law abiding here. Still if you have brought me a pleasing little gift , I think I might overlook that fact?

Yes, Milady. I know how much you hate Shehanne’s hamsters, so I have brought you a pet of your own – a Tasmanian Devil. #

tasmanian-devil-yawningThese creatures will act as a very strong deterrent to those hamsters ever setting foot on your blog again.

Gracious. So I see. And they look so harmless at times too. save-the-tasmanian-devil-03

Milady Clark we will say nothing of this gift for fear of these hamster creatures stirring things up with Shehanne. Already she has broken my arm in several places and I have not been able to walk down the aisle because of it. Now….you have met the charming members of the club. Can you tell us why we should each of us spend a week reading your book?noe

I know how much Flint’s crewmen love saving a damsel in distress. Therefore I think they would love reading about the escapades of Honor Quirk as she traipses around another small green island – Ireland. Read this and see what you think.

On a quest to make amends for a long-ago indiscretion, Honor unexpectedly discovers the one thing she’s been missing in her life.
Alone in the world, Honor Quirk arrives in Ireland excited—and a bit anxious—about meeting up with the estranged family of her late great-grandmother. She has a promise to fulfil, a debt to repay.
At Robinhill Farm, she finds herself amongst an extended family who are very different from, yet similar to her, and she is keen to get to know them better. However, the welcome from the residents of Robinhill, Dermot and Bryan, is confusing and far from comforting. One is warm, the other aggressive.
The tie to the old family farm is strong and Honor falls under its spell, never wanting to leave. When love eventually finds her, it arrives in unexpected, and perhaps unwelcome ways.

Hmm. Well, Milady Clark you can see they are already as taken with the cover picture as they are with your good self. pirate-11

While I think I have cured Flint of eyeing other women, he is still a great one for eyeing everything else. He calls it booty. Is there anything I should do to disabuse him of helping himself to other people’s boats andtheir contents? Already we have four gondolas aboard.

I would suggest, Milady, that here in Tassie there is the much-feared Port Arthur Penal Colony where, from 1830 until 1877, the very worst of criminals from England, Ireland, and – dare I say – Scotland, were sent to spend their lives in hard labour. If Flint continues his wayward looting, he will surely find himself incarcerated at Port Arthur.

most thoughtfully provided our fare today, largely because the pirates eschew the culinary arts for cutlass waving, drinking and frolicking on shore with wenches. Do you have any tips for making them try at least to help my maid, Susan, in the galley? It is such a task and she gets quite fraught.

Milady, if I knew how to get a man to help out in the kitchen, I would bottle the essence and sell it. I’m sorry, I know not any ways.

Oh well….we shall just have to get her to dress up. Tasmania is lovely I am sure, what sites—if any—do you intend visiting here when you leave the ship? Provided of course, you first sign a disclaimer that you never saw me, or Flint?

Firstly I will travel along the north coast of Tasmania, sampling the seafoodand brisk air of this island state of Australia that is the last land mass before Antarctica. map_to_show_where_Tassie_is

Tassie is renowned for its apples, chocolates, gourmet cheeses, and wines. I shall samples these, Milady, with gusto.

Gracious I believe I shall come along.

I will also visit Port Arthur Penitentiary and keep an eye out for Flint and his crew.

We must hope that will not be necessary.

Thank you Milady for your gracious welcome.

Honor’s Debt

On a quest to make amends for a long-ago indiscretion, Honor unexpectedly discovers the one thing she’s been missing in her life.

Honor Quirk arrives in Ireland excited—and a bit anxious—about meeting up with the estranged family of her late great-grandmother. The welcome from the residents of Robinhill Farm, Dermot and Bryan, is confusing and far from comforting. One is warm, the other aggressive. The outwardly antagonistic Bryan makes it very clear he doesn’t want her there, branding her a gold digger.

Dermot, on the other hand, is delighted to meet her.

But Honor is no pushover and stands up to Bryan, letting him know that his bad attitude and trail of baggage have nothing to do with her. Despite their confrontational and hostile relationship, an undeniable attraction to each other creeps insidiously into the house on Robinhill Farm. They both desperately try to stifle the sparks, but living under the same roof makes it impossible. Unable to cope with the turmoil of living with Bryan, Honor runs away, straight into the arms of a charming newfound friend, Sean, who offers her a home—and love.

Shattered, Bryan finally takes control of his irrational belief that all women are evil, and fights to bring back the woman he loves. But is it too late?
